TYLER TAFOLLA
Writer | Performer | Director

Told through raw, non-linear vignettes, "Dead Moose" follows Job — an eighteen-year-old who survives a freak accident with a moose and begins questioning everything he knows about fate, faith, and who he wants to become. With the voice of the dead moose echoing in his mind, he’s pushed to confront the truths he’s long avoided.
Originally conceived by writer/composer Tafolla while attending AMDA Los Angeles, Dead Moose first introduced audiences to its songs in 2018 at Republic of Pie in Los Angeles. A concert reading was later staged in January 2025 at the City Heights Performance Annex in San Diego, directed by Tafolla, produced by Kevin “Blax” Burroughs and featured an all-star San Diego cast.
A world premiere production of Dead Moose will premier at Oceanside Theatre Company in January of 2026!
